The Story Behind it All

The story of Lorene’s Learning Loft is the story of me. I would like to take a moment to let you know how we became 3L’s. I started my career in sales as an associate and very quickly worked my way up to becoming one of the youngest managers of the largest retailers of youth jewelry and accessories.
Side Note: As far back as I could remember I always want to have a football team size family until. I realized the cost of having children (and that many) would not be cheap 😊
After managing adolescents, I moved into early childhood education. I started out at a larger daycare center and I am grateful I did. The love and nurturing presence I had when I was young returned to me in my work. Like, the corporate world I quickly moved up, received my (education) which allowed me to become a lead teacher in a preschool classroom.
I have been blessed to bring the knowledge from centers into my home childcare education program. Teaming up with Reading Core and ThinkSmall we have created a strong foundation for our future scholars to succeed.

Lorene’s Learning Loft LLC will provide exceptional care and education for our future generation. Setting age appropriate expectations while implementing a fun yet challenging curriculum. With a goal of developing well prepared individuals. I believe in providing family-type developmentally appropriate child care through a balanced mix of play base and structured learning tools. I strive for a balance of different ages so that the children can learn to accept and appreciate the diversity of each age and stage of growth.
